About Us

Rethinking Medicine. Redefining What's Possible.

Dr. Mahsin Habib has spent decades challenging the limitations of conventional healthcare, building a model designed to predict, prevent, and transform the trajectory of disease.

While most of medicine is built to respond,
Dr. Habib built his career on anticipating. His work is grounded in a simple but radical idea: the most serious conditions affecting human life are not sudden, they are detectable, measurable, and modifiable years in advance.

This philosophy became the foundation of NHgevity.

Origin and Evolution

Dr. Mahsin Habib began his medical journey in 1988 at the University of Sheffield Medical School in England, where he developed a strong foundation in clinical medicine. After graduating in 1993, he trained in the United Kingdom, working in the Department of Accident and Emergency at Good Hope Hospital and the Department of Psychiatry at Highcroft Hospital. These early experiences shaped his understanding of both acute care and the deeper psychological components of health.

In 1996, Dr. Habib moved to the United States, where he pursued an externship in cardiology in Arizona, followed by an Internal Medicine Residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. During this time, his perspective on medicine began to evolve beyond traditional models. By the completion of his residency in 2000, he had developed a clear vision: health could not be optimized through treatment alone, but required the integration of fitness, nutrition, and proactive medical care.

Building a New Model of Care

In 2001, Dr. Habib founded Next Health on a simple yet transformative concept, bringing fitness, medical care, and nutrition under one roof. Years ahead of the mainstream adoption of functional and lifestyle medicine, he pioneered a data-driven approach that emphasized prevention, optimization, and measurable outcomes. His work produced significant clinical results, including sustained weight loss, improved metabolic markers, reduced fatty liver, and improved cholesterol profiles.

Over the next two decades, Next Health evolved into a leading model for longevity-focused care. Key milestones include the expansion into functional medicine in 2005, the launch of the Executive Physical program in 2011, and the introduction of the Ultra Health program in 2013. In 2015, Dr. Habib further advanced his vision by achieving measurable DNA age reversal in select cases and formally coining the term “Rethink Medicine”, a philosophy centered on using objective data to predict, prevent, and optimize health outcomes.

The platform continued to expand with the integration of regenerative medicine and stem cell therapies in 2021, followed by advanced rejuvenation therapies in 2023.

Innovation and Programs

Today, Dr. Habib’s work spans a comprehensive suite of services including lifestyle medicine memberships, advanced biomarker analysis, and precision health tracking. His clinical model combines in-depth history and physical examination with advanced functional laboratory testing to create personalized, data-driven care plans informed by over three decades of experience and thousands of patients. His approach also incorporates regenerative therapies focused on repair and recovery, as well as targeted IV nutrient protocols designed to address root causes and optimize performance.

At the core of Dr. Habib’s philosophy is longevity, what he often refers to as “healthgevity”, a commitment not only to extending lifespan, but to enhancing healthspan, vitality, and long-term human performance.

To this end, Dr. Habib has redefined the traditional annual physical, transforming it into what is now known as…

The Executive Physical

A comprehensive, data-driven evaluation utilizing advanced diagnostics to detect disease at its earliest, and most actionable, stage.

The Longevity Evaluation

A highly personalized protocol designed to:

• Identify hidden risk
• Implement targeted interventions
• Support the reversal of disease processes where possible
• Extend both lifespan and healthspan

Philosophy in Practice

At the core of Dr. Habib’s work are three principles:

Predict disease before symptoms appear.

Predict/Prevent progression through precise, early intervention.

Prolong life with sustained health and performance.

This framework now defines the NHgevity approach.

Dr. Habib sees what others see, but evaluates it differently. Where conventional systems wait for thresholds, he looks for patterns. Where others react to events, he intervenes early. Where healthcare often fragments, he integrates.

NHgevity is the culmination of over three decades of clinical experience, innovation, and disciplined thinking.

It was built for individuals who expect more than standard care, and understand that the future of their health should be actively managed, not left to chance.
